We love the Darcy Bikini
The Darcy Bikini is new to the Carve Designs roster. Its a string bikini with a bit more coverage than the typical string we see these days. It has cute ruffle detailing that isn't scary at all since its very small and very subtle. Give it a try if you wanting a feminine, tasteful look this spring. (Seafog Paisley is pictured here)

Erica Hartnick
Carve Designs Athelete Erica Hartnick recently spent some time in Costa Rica. Here she tells us a little bit about her experience:
"I was fortunate enough to take part in a work exchange program at the amazing Encanta La Vida (www.encantalavida.com), on the Osa peninsula of Costa Rica. Roughly translating to "for the love of life!", Encanta La Vida is set in the rainforest in front of world class surf breaks.
I was privileged to be the resident yoga teacher at Encanta La Vida. Each day I taught yoga on an unreal yoga deck overlooking the ocean and the Golfo Dulce. It was very special experience to be able to practice and teach immersed in such a high density of nature. I saw scarlet macaws, blue morpho butterflies, four types of monkeys, and toucans, DAILY! I was also fortunate enough to become friends with the incredible Matapalo community as well as meet other interesting people traveling through the area. When not working, I enjoyed being in the ocean, surfing, and exploring trails through the primary rainforest.
I am enjoying life, following what I love: the ocean, traveling, nature, surfing, yoga, meeting new people and enjoying new experiences. I encourage everyone to travel and follow what they love because life is too short not too. Plus, you get to learn a lot about yourself along the way. I hope to return to Costa Rica for the 2012/2013 season".
